Artist Nicole Salgar shares her experience working with Hope Murals and the girls at the Miami-Dade Juvenile Detention Center. Hope Murals is a non-profit organization that uses art as a platform to teach self efficacy and other life skills. The project model uses a four week process to install murals on the inner wall of the juvenile facility.
